CTA has developed proven yet cost-effective special purpose hardware development capabilities in the areas of avionics tests, operational flight programs, simulation laboratories, and weapons system integration. We have extensive experience in life-cycle systems engineering and problem resolution associated with the definition, evaluation, design, development, fabrication, modification, acquisition, and maintenance of special purpose hardware.

CTA’s management approach and corporate infrastructure have provided a proven foundation for effective, efficient, and successful management and control of hundreds of task/delivery orders on cost type, fixed-price, and time & materials IDIQ contracts for more than three decades.

CTA has assembled top-performing professionals that have proven capabilities across the full spectrum of SOW requirements, bringing deep understanding and knowledge of the manufacturing and assembly processes, possessing program-specific leadership experience with direct access to corporate resources, integrating industry best practices, and providing immediate support and responsiveness.

Our procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance (QA) team is highly trained and experienced and, since 1995, has been manufacturing Electronic Warfare (EW) systems (pods, electronic assemblies, and cable and wire harness assemblies) that have been integrated into U.S. Navy-supported manned and unmanned aircraft as well as used in several laboratories and hardware-in-the-loop testing facilities.

CTA has created a legacy of providing high-end system, software, and hardware engineering; technical development; manufacturing; flight test; and programmatic support services on highly-critical Fleet programs.

CTA’s management and technical team works closely with their clients to continuously maintain compliance with the documentation requirements, ensure technical excellence, and minimize problems associated with obsolete parts.

CTA maintains a comprehensive and extensively researched list of vendors that provide the unique and hard-to-locate components required to build the required products. CTA has established efficient and productive interfaces with the Government to incorporate ECPs as required to sustain the high level of quality.

CTA’s ISO 9001:2015-certified quality system requires CTA to continually meet improvement and customer satisfaction benchmarks to ensure consistently high levels of manufacturing quality. These diligent efforts have consistently ensured that the products remained compatible with existing systems and met the test and training requirements of the Fleet.

CTA has successfully fabricated and delivered over 600 pod and pod system variants, each involving hundreds of interconnections to avionics and other laboratory systems, and thousands of parts.

We have established proven techniques such as the “Process Traveler” to ensure consistent/repeatable high-quality fabrication. And our manufacturing services extend into the areas of drawing and documentation evaluation, operations and maintenance, and operational test and evaluation.

Our services have included developing system variants, analyzing failure and repair data, tracking repairable components, subcontracting for component repairs, and operating and maintaining a spares inventory. We support system hardware modifications and upgrades to satisfy user operational requirements for extending the operational life of the equipment.
